Book Pantry

My daughter has special memories of going into grandmother’s food pantry, where she got to pick one “little something” treat just for her. That pantry was full of goodies, including her grandmother’s favorite candy, and the experience became one of the delights of visiting her grandparents.

I believed that this was such a great idea that I wanted to create my own tradition—a “book pantry.” As a result, family and friends love coming over to the house because of my large selection of books—and it even becomes a destination for my husband and I when we’re looking for “a little something” to read. We especially love going back and rediscovering one of our “old friends”—one of those titles worthy of another read.
